THINKING OF BECOMING A BROKER OR FINANCIAL PROFESSIONAL? THIS IS THE TIME!

Investors are experiencing a harrowing time in the stock and bond markets. The Dow is going up 600 points one day, and falling 500 the very next day. Investors, having once believed that the market is rational, are at a loss to explain the sudden and apparent irrational volatility. What is needed are sound financial professionals who can give calming and mature advice to such investors. Professionals who can guide investors to profitable yet conservative investments. If you are thinking of entering the industry, becoming a Series 7 broker, becoming a broker only in mutual funds and variable annuities (Series 6), or concentrating only on giving investment advice for a fee (Series 65 or 66), this is the time. The industry needs qualified people like you. Bob Eder's  Study for the Series 6,  Study for the Series 65, Study for the Series 66, and Study for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam  - all are available from Amazon in both paperback and Kindle e-book versions....

TAKING THE SIE EXAM? BE PREPARED FOR QUESTIONS ON DIFFERENT TYPES OF MARKETS

If you are planning to take the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, be prepared for questions on different types of markets. For example, the SIE Study Outline available from FINRA lists types of markets (1.2.1), such as the primary market, the secondary market, the third market, and the fourth market.  Make sure you know the difference between these markets before you go in to take the test. Bob Eder's Study for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam covers these different types of markets, as well as all the topics listed in FINRA's Content Outline in some depth. Here is the link to FINRA's Outline . Bob Eder's book is available through Amazon either in paperback or Kindle e-book versions.
