TAKING THE SIE EXAM? BE PREPARED FOR QUESTIONS ON DIFFERENT TYPES OF MARKETS

If you are planning to take the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, be prepared for questions on different types of markets.

For example, the SIE Study Outline available from FINRA lists types of markets (1.2.1), such as the primary market, the secondary market, the third market, and the fourth market.  Make sure you know the difference between these markets before you go in to take the test.

Bob Eder's Study for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam covers these different types of markets, as well as all the topics listed in FINRA's Content Outline in some depth. Here is the link to FINRA's Outline.

Bob Eder's book is available through Amazon either in paperback or Kindle e-book versions. Here is the link to Study for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam at Amazon.

P.S. You will need to take and pass the SIE exam before your Series 6 or Series 7 license can become effective.
